Fossil Ck, West Clear Ck, and Tonto Natural Bridge

So for Tim's birthday we decided to go camping and go hiking. Preferably someplace with water. We just don't get to see much water. Fossil Creek was beautiful, we just didn't get to stay long, because we needed to get a campsite before it got dark.
Turquoise blue waters! Amazing! in Arizona!

Can you see all the fish?

Tim teaching squatch to swim. Sorta.

Squatch is not much of a swimmer, she kinda likes to climb the ladder when she's in the water.

Apparently the current was too strong for Squatch. She had to get rescued.
Also- Tim's been wanting to go check out this trail for a long time. I was under the impression that there were going to be a lot more stream crossings. But this was my favorite part of the hike.
This was my favorite part of the West Clear Ck trail.

Tell me: Does this look like a shark?

We are bad dog owners. We didn't take into account how hot the ground was going to be.

So Tim had to carry her.

I had to take pictures. Cuz she's a little princess!
And then we were going to go home, but when I dropped Rocket off in town for her oil change and such they called to tell me that there were more repairs that she needed, so we needed to kill some more time. This is why we went to see Tonto Natural Bridge. For a state park that is supposedly having serious money issues there were state park employees all over the place.
And this was at Tonto Natural Bridge

kinda neat.

Squatch. not impressed.

And then my battery died. no more photos!
