The New Hance

Looks like there were some cooking fires in this over hang... Do you know where it is?
I love when trees do this!

Looking East

Looking towards Buggeln Picnic area

Who doesn't like a blooming cactus?
This was a cool little shady spot to rehydrate and catch some breath.

How to tell people what your favorite view of the Canyon is? Well, you gotta hike to my favorite views I think it looks much better from the inside, but most people don't want to work that hard. Can you see the sinking ship in this picture?

Peep hole!

Ruin Hunting at Grand Canyon

Just shocked it's still standing.
Watch your step on the way to check it out...

Blends in well with the surroundings.

See the granaries?

How bout now?

There's some more.

Looks like a pile of rocks, but it didn't use to.

hiking around Utah

I guess you can't see Boze behind Amanda, but he's there.

I like this one of Pepper picking her nose.

Uly, the huge one. A gentle giant. Super well trained.

This is what you resort to when there are 50 mile gusts, and a 20 mph sustained wind in a sandy desert campground. This was outrageous! But a good time.

Red Canyon in Dixie National Forest

This is gov't housing. Looking inside it's got a bed and a wood burning stove. What more could you ask for?

That's right, PODUNK! For reals!

Cemeteries are kind of neat. This one is filled with Settlers.

Paria Movie Set.

Tim on the left, Amanda from Santa Fe on the right and her poodle Pepper.

Not a bad campground.

Bryce Canyon- not really a canyon.

This sign was at every single viewpoint. Grand Canyon doesn't have this, we don't care about your children I guess.

How often do you see this?! This tree was super awesome.

kick ass!

Natural Bridges are formed from water. Every Bridge is an Arch, but not every Arch is a Bridge.

Not really a canyon- it's pretty one sided for a canyon.

Ebeneezer Bryce said this was "one hell of a place to lose a cow".

Apparently in the winter people will try to ski from the rim through the hoo doos. Idiots.

The radio announcement (am 1610) told visitors they shouldn't feed, get close, or try to befriend an animal. I thought it was classic.
