Tetons Part 2

This place is supposed to have awesome fried cheese curds, but they were closing for the season, and didn't have any left.

I don't like that you can see up my nose, but Tim likes this picture

oxbow bend
a bear was here

This is where Tim harassed some trail dawgs he knows

Ding and Dang Canyons

We thought we were going there, but were totally wrong.

Detour! Went up the wrong side canyon.

Down was much easier than going up this one.

I think this was the only water we found

And now you have to go to the other side...

Todd, Maggie, and Uly

You want me to go where?

Uly went first, then Maggie

Uly was really good at finding shade.

Exploring!

You may need to click on this one to increase the size to see it. Can you see the Arch site?

This is what you can see in that very first photo if you look really hard.

Inside the granary! And there's scat!

omg. You can see the hand and finger indentations in the mortar.

Hi Tim!

Another photo of scat, but isn't this one hilarious? I guess you had to be there.

Tim and I got a little sunburned, and on the way out got rained on.
Tim and I went hiking out to the East of the canyon, it was a beautiful warm day in the beginning. We being experienced canyon hikers layered, so we finally got down to t-shirts, and then the wind started. It was a nice breeze, and then turned into some fairly strong winds, and then it started raining, not cats and dogs, but enough to warrant throwing on all of our layers and rain coat. And then the next day we got snow, a 50 degree temperature swing. Yikes. I'm pretty much done with winter, thanks.
