me and tim on a hike out to the battleship formation

Wupatki is kinda cool I guess.

It's sorta hard to compare ruins to Mesa Verde, but this one is pretty cool. I really like the breathing hole just down the hill from here. It's a hole in the ground that's part of a cave system. Have you been to wind cave? The windier it is, the bigger the cave. Rangers actually lived in this ruin in the 60's. And the gov't charged them rent.

my own plot of dirt. just what every girl wants.

Victory gardens.

A different view of my yard. It's huge according to other neighbors.

The Beginning of my first real life vegetable garden.

Notice all the nice vegetation and giant holes under the fence.

Cool little ruin!

I was out hiking the other day and found this little guy. It's a granary, and there are still some artifacts nearby, but if I told you where I'd have to kill you, it's somewhere in Arizona.

I went hiking and got attacked.

There were two more just like it stuck into me through my sock, but I pulled them out before I took a picture. Surprisingly, no blood. Hurt like a mofo for all of three minutes.

Day 7

Day 6

awww, spring in the desert! cactus fruit!

Check out the Albino Deer! next to the 45 mph sign

you kinda have to look really closely. I happened to have a camera near by, and this was the best I could do... Perhaps it'll come around again.

Day 5

Turquoise Death Spider is a bad dream I had about giant spiders trying to kill me and their arch nemesis the Paisley spider. I think it had to do with the tarantula mating season I witnessed this past fall. It's sort of a running joke with my friends now, I thought I'd capitalize on the tongue rolling action it has.
Brand new Blog! how bout that?
