Todd, Maggie, and Uly

You want me to go where?

Uly went first, then Maggie

Uly was really good at finding shade.

Moki Dugway

This road is crazy. You don't know if there's someone coming around the corner half the time. Luckily, it wasn't busy.
Yes, I took pictures of a road. It was impressive, and a lot of fun. You should check it out some time.

Goosenecks State Park

The sign said something about this being one of the finest examples in the world of embedded trenching. I just think it looks pretty cool. We stopped here before we went up the Moki Dugway on our way to the San Rafael Swell.

These are a bad thing.

omg, these are crazy good.

sweet demure exterior

delicious centers!
I found these on a blog somewhere, I think it was love and olive oil- but she doesn't call for eggs in these, so if you're concerned about raw egg in your cookie dough, these are safe. It's essentially cookie dough with soymilk instead of egg, chill the dough, roll into balls, freeze them for 30 minutes then dip in chocolate, keep refrigerated, and they last for about a week. I don't think these will last long though, I took them into work. holy cow, I can't tell you how good these are, but don't try them. This is a cautionary tale.

strawberry cupcakes with cream cheese frosting

frosting that was refrigerated before piping onto the cuppity cake

experimenting with sprinkles

mmmm, cactus
I got quite a few cupcakes out of the batch- actually had to throw some out.

look! baby cupcakes!

I had better luck once I refrigerated the frosting and then piped it onto the cupcake. I used some strawberry extract in the cupcake and I also used about 3/4c of pureed strawberries into the batter, someone may have recommended it and I thought it was a good idea, but it's still a very faint strawberry flavor. More cowbell?
Still quite tasty though, I never found any strawberry soda though, so maybe that was the trick. I think the frosting was my favorite part.
People like them, but they don't seem to be anyone's favorites. I think the frosting would hold up to being out of refrigeration for a few hours or so at the reception, don't you?

These are from the end of April, I've been experiencing technical difficulties with the gov't computers. Hope you guys can get some ideas of fun stuff to do in the area when you come in August! I highly recommend boating.
